DRO-571
MICROWAVE DOPPLER TRANSCEIVER
DESCRIPTION:
The DRO-571 MICROWAVE DOPPLER TRANSCEIVER is a low
cost sensor designed for any speed measurement or motion
sensing application. It provides an audio output signal
which frequency is proportional to the velocity of an
object moving toward to away from the antenna.
Typical applications:
- doppler Radar Systems.
- Speed and Rotation Measurement systems.
- Intrusion Alarms for Vehicle and Room.
- Traffic Signal Actuators.
- Automatic Door Openers
- Obstruction Warning Systems.
- Other Moving Detector System
- Process Industry Control.
- Contactless Vibration Measurement
- Collision Avoidance
- Transmitters.
- Marine Radar
- Lighting Control.

Oscillator Setting Time:< 1uS to within 10MHz of Final
Frequency.
Weight: 15gm.
Antenna Beam Pattern:
Application notes:
- The module is supplied with shorting links across
the mixers to protect them from the effects of
static charge. These shorting links should be
left in position until after all wiring assembly
work is complete.
- The detection range will depend on the size and
reflectivity of the target, the signal to noise
ratio required and antenna gain.
- The transmitter frequency is factory preset. The
required operating frequency must be specified
when ordering
- Doppler shife frequency at 10.525GHZ is 31 Hz/mph
